EVENTS AT YARLINGTON HOUSE
Yarlington House has been the venue for many corporate events and it lends itself to entertainment of many kinds, both corporate and private.
Clients are attracted by its privacy for it is approached by its own drive and is set within its own parkland. They also like its peaceful setting surrounded by gardens and the elegance and convenience of the house.
It is ideal for lectures, presentations, seminars, partnership meetings and other corporate events and has been used for book signing and the launching of other products. For all of these, the gardens play a significant part for they make a pleasant and enjoyable place to relax in between sessions or for meals outside in the summer.
The house was built for entertaining and the flexibility of the interior lends itself to this purpose for both corporate and private events. For capacities of the various rooms, please see ‘Inside the House’.
The open parkland surrounding the house gives endless space for marquees and other activities: for the Threads of Life Exhibitions for example, nine sizeable pavilions were erected there – and there was plenty of room for more. For one wedding reception, it allowed three helicopters to land – and again there was room for more.
The lawn in front of the house is an ideal setting for almost any outdoor activity: barbecues, picnics, children’s parties etc – a croquet set is available if required. For events like these which cause minimum disruption, a reduced hiring fee is negotiable.
There is ample space for parking close to the house.
